Grej — Acceptable Use Policy

Early Access · Effective 24 July 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using the Grej application and services (the "Service"), operated by Humeko Oy (business ID 2081131-0). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.

We keep this policy short and practical. The guiding principle is simple: use the Service lawfully, for your own genuine asset-management purposes, and do not harm other people, their rights, or the Service itself. Breaking these rules can lead to the consequences in §7.

1. Who this applies to

This AUP applies to everyone who uses the Service, including within a shared Family/household workspace. If you invite others, you are responsible for making them aware of these rules.

2. Content you may not upload or create

You must not upload, store, generate or share content that:

  • is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
  • infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights (see §3 on manuals and third-party materials);
  • is child sexual abuse material or sexualises minors in any way — this is prohibited absolutely and will be reported to the competent authorities;
  • is hateful, harassing, threatening, or incites violence against a person or group;
  • provides instructions for seriously dangerous activities (e.g. weapons, explosives) where the purpose is to cause harm;
  • contains malware, or is designed to disrupt or compromise systems or data;
  • discloses other people's personal data without a lawful basis; or
  • is deceptive, such as impersonating another person or organisation.

3. Rights in what you upload

  • Upload only content you own or are entitled to use. You warrant this in the Terms of Use.
  • Product manuals and service documentation are usually copyrighted by the manufacturer. You may keep a copy for your own asset, but you must not upload materials you have no right to use, and you must not use the Service to redistribute third-party copyrighted materials to others.
  • Do not upload another person's documents, photos or data unless you are entitled to.

4. How you may not use the Service

You must not:

  • attempt to access, alter or interfere with other users' data, accounts, or workspaces;
  • probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or bypass authentication, tenant isolation or other protections, except with our prior written permission;
  • circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the Daily AI Limit, Voucher Codes, or other usage or security controls;
  • use bots, scraping, or automated bulk access to the Service or its content;
  • reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to build or train a competing product, dataset, or AI model (including by extracting outputs at scale for that purpose);
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or access to it; or
  • place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Using the AI Features responsibly

The AI Features are there to assist you. You must not:

  • use them to generate content prohibited under §2;
  • attempt to make the AI reveal other users' data, its confidential instructions, or bypass its safeguards (for example through prompt injection);
  • represent AI output as professional, certified, or authoritative advice; or
  • rely on AI output for safety-critical, regulated or professional tasks without independent verification, as explained in the Terms of Use. You remain responsible for what you do with it.

6. Reporting a problem

  • General concerns or abuse: support@grej.app
  • Copyright / intellectual-property notices (takedown): copyright@grej.app — we operate a notice-and-action process and a repeat-infringer policy consistent with the EU Digital Services Act, as described in the Terms of Use.
  • Privacy / data-protection requests: privacy@grej.app

We review reports and act on valid ones.

7. Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached, we may — proportionately to the seriousness of the breach — take one or more of the following actions:

  • issue a warning;
  • remove or disable access to specific content;
  • suspend or limit access to features, including the AI Features;
  • suspend or terminate the account (see the Terms of Use); and
  • where content or conduct is unlawful, report it to the competent authorities.

For serious, repeated, or clearly illegal violations we may act without prior warning. We aim to act proportionately and, where appropriate and lawful, to let you know why.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP as the Service evolves. Material changes will be notified where required; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
